With a grunt, the instructor inspects the armor; hanging on by one hit point still attached to the pell. Reluctant to destroy a piece of training equipment, he examines Jandar, and his three peers. "I hope you all learned something today. Some of you are especially better because of your lesson. Can any of you finish the peon off?" he wonders.

If Jandar would like, he can have one attack, because just as he is probably eager to finish the darned thing, so is his peers! (we all know that Jandar's the only one capable of doing damage to the thing, though *smirk*)

Doing 2 points of damage. He says very gravely "Remember, you, that your waist and everything below it is the foundation of thy strength. See how unsteady you become when you have no knees?"

Jandar is penitent. He knows that he had not really taken care of his defense since he was trying to knock the block off the training equipment and didn't expect it to strike back. Of course, he should have been acting as if it was a combat situation and the instructor had picked up on that.

Jandar steps forward and tries to finish the job with an overhand blow:

Jandar is most satisfied at the crashing sound and at the wonderful feel of having connected with his weapon.

You get to add your strength modifier (which is three) to your damage rolls, so indeed; The din of contact could be very satisfying.

But alas, the old, and evidently trusty buckle holds and the peon absorbs most of the damage it is incurred. Unfortunately Jandar and his peers aren't able to destroy the peon this morning.

Jandar has been awarded 50 XP for training.

When they are finished the temple had become a good deal more empty; they are the last to complete their training. The students vanish by threes and fours outside to recreate on the lawn, and the instructors mill about trying to get equipment picked up before the lunch bell tolls.

One or two filter in after the bludgeoners to seek the quietude of the temple, and poke their noses into their alchemy texts cramming for the next exam.

Jandar wipes his brow and chats with some other bludgeoners as they depart the training.

He goes over to the job postings and looks around. He debates heading to a nearby tavern for a drink.
